Dr. Richard Alvarado

Richard graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education followed by a Master of Science in Educational Administration. In 2001, Richard earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. After graduating with his Masters, Richard immediately began a career in the educational field as a teacher at San Antonio ISD. He also served as a principal at a San Antonio elementary before serving as Assistant Superintendent in Curriculum and Instruction for Southside ISD.

From 2013 – 2020, Richard served as the Executive Director at Education Service Center Region 2. Richard previously served as the Associate Director for Education Service Center Region 20. Currently, he is a faculty member for both the University of Phoenix – San Antonio Campus and Concordia University Texas – San Antonio Campus.

Richard has a rich career history working in numerous areas within the educational field and will be a valuable asset to both our team of attorneys and the school districts we serve.
