AUSTIN
Ryan W. Lione is experienced in business and civil litigation, corporate law, complex business transactions and business formation, real estate law, construction law and construction litigation, and public finance. Ryan serves as general counsel to a number of businesses in the Austin area and leads the public finance division at Powell Law Group, LLP wherein the Firm serves as bond counsel for bond offerings and other types of financial transactions on behalf of Texas public school districts.
Ryan is also licensed in Colorado and spent nearly ten years living in Denver where he worked in-house at one of the largest nonprofit hospitals in the country, working specifically with the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children’s Hospital Colorado, advising primarily on business and administrative matters in health law and prior thereof, working in the area of tax law providing legal and tax advice on a broad array of federal, state, and local tax matters to business clients nationwide. Additionally, Ryan has experience representing Texas public school districts and nonprofit organizations.
