Trevor B. Hall is a Senior Associate Attorney in our Austin office, where he focuses exclusively on school law. Drawing upon almost twenty years of legal experience, Trevor advises public school districts across Texas on the U.S. Constitution, civil rights, employment contracts and disputes, Title VII and Title IX compliance, the Texas Public Information Act, the Texas Open Meetings Act, local grievances, and student discipline. Trevor is also a member of the Firm’s Special Education Practice Group, advising and representing school districts in both compliance and litigation relating to the

Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Section 504. He regularly travels to school districts across Texas to advise Boards of Trustees and tend to any other matters that may arise.

Trevor also has particular expertise in public relations, including media affairs. When a crisis occurs that generates significant public or media attention, Mr. Hall often guides school districts in crafting public messaging and, when appropriate, communicates directly with media outlets.

Trevor attended the public school system in Amarillo, the crown jewel of the Texas Panhandle, where he regularly visits family. Trevor was an attorney with one of the largest commercial law firms in the southwestern United States and operated his own law firm before joining Powell Law Group, LLP.
